Mary Alice Drawdy White

Mary Alice Drawdy White, 83, of Macon, Georgia, passed away on Friday, August 26, 2022.  She passed peacefully from this life with her husband, Edgar Earl White, and her family by her side and went to her Eternal Home where she will live and rejoice forever with her Heavenly Father, along with those who have gone before her. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 30, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Sardis-Heard Funeral Home, with Pastor Steve Sawyer officiating. Family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will immediately follow the service at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens at 7070 Houston Road, Macon, Georgia 31216.

Mary was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Mary was born in Jeff Davis County and was the oldest daughter of the late Walter and Eudell Herndon. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Richard Ellis Drawdy and Mopsie, her beloved Bichon Frise, who was a long-time companion and friend. Mary is survived by Edgar Earl White, her husband of 11 years; three children, Kelvin Drawdy (Lisa) of Lizella, Glenn Drawdy (Shawna) of Dahlonega, Jeff Drawdy (Christy) of Indian Harbor Beach, Florida; six grandchildren, Adam and Anna Drawdy of Lizella, Caleb Drawdy (Ali) of Cumming, Caleigh Drawdy of Dahlonega, Sidney Drawdy Glass (Zach) of Sebastian, Florida, Taylor Drawdy Brown (Brennan) of Ocala, Florida; her sister, JoAnne White (JR) of Pooler, Georgia; her brother, Roy Lee Herndon (Linda) of Goodlettsville, Tennessee; several nieces and nephews and Edgar’s daughter Rhonda Drawhorn (Kenneth) of Macon.
