Matthew Robert Heyn Sr.

Matthew Robert Heyn Sr., 56, passed away December 24, 2022, at his home in Macon, Georgia. Matt was born on January 22, 1966, in Louisville, Kentucky, where he lived for many years. 

Matt was a commercial and residential painter for over thirty-five years. 

He is survived by his loving sister, Rebecca Lynn Heyn Harris (Dan); daughter, Christine Day Frazier; sons, David Jones and Matthew Clemons; stepson, Justin Hubbard (Liz); as well as grandchildren, Miles Hubbard, Penelope Hubbard and Austin Tyler Frazier; his niece, Amberlynn Heath; nephew, Leo Daniel; along with several cousins. 

Matt was preceded in death by his parents, Betty J. (Heyn) Payne and David L. Heyn and Stepfather, Larry A. Payne. 

Matt was a devoted son, Father, Grandfather, Uncle and friend with a heart of gold to everyone he met. 

He will be greatly missed by so many who loved him.
