Patricia Mullis Collins

Patricia Mullis Collins, 82, beloved Mother and Grandmother, was called to her eternal resting place on March 29, 2023. She entered this world on September 21, 1940 in Macon, Georgia, born to Walter R. Mullis and Beatrice Suddeth Mullis. Her memory will forever be treasured by her daughter Kim Stewart (Jeff Jones) of Greenville, South Carolina and son Buddy Collins (Wendy) of Macon and four grandchildren; Sid Stewart (Laura), Mason Stewart, Cameron Collins and Evyn Collins; as well as nieces and nephews, Randy Mullis, Rhonda Mullis Duggan, Donna Mullis Williams, Toby Mullis, Jimmy Giddens, Johnny Giddens, Jan Harper Johnson, Robin Bridgeman Duffey, Sheila Bridgeman Wilford, Chris Bridgeman, Tracy Bridgeman Archer, and Richard Bridgeman. She was preceded in death by her parents; twin brothers, Walter and Wallace Mullis; and nieces, Cari Mullis Patton and Beth Mullis Stanfield.

Pat enjoyed spending time with family and friends and loved her four grandchildren more than life.  She was fondly known as "Memar" to her grandchildren's friends and was dearly loved by them.  She was an avid Atlanta Braves and Georgia Football fan.  In her younger days she enjoyed fishing, gardening, playing pool and throwing darts.  

Most of Pat's working life was spent as a nurse’s aide at Coliseum Hospital and Middle Georgia Hospital.  

Family will greet friends for a time of visitation to celebrate her life on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Sardis-Heard Funeral Home.
