Sarah "Polly" Ellis

Sarah “Polly” Ellis, 87, of Metter, Georgia, passed away January 18, 2022.  Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at 2:00 PM, at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens in Macon, Georgia. 

Polly loved her family dearly.  She also loved the outdoors and long boat rides.  She had a big heart for animals and enjoyed loving on her recent fur babies, “Pickle” and “Coco.”   Polly also loved music and enjoyed listening to her favorite band, Long Point String Band. 

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Babineau; her grandson, David Welch (Crystal); three great-grandsons, Anthony Welch (Emily) and their daughter, Lily Welch; Kasey Welch, Rodney Welch, Jr.; a great-grandson, Jacob Welch; her real good friends, Sissy and Gator; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ivy Eugene Ellis; and her parents, Sarah and George Dewey Miles.
