Obituary

Sheila Barber, 69, of Macon, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, June 27, 2023. Family will greet friends for a time of visitation on Friday, June 30, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, at Sardis-Heard Funeral Home. Burial will be private. Flowers are accepted, and donations can be made to the American Red Cross in honor of Ms. Sheila Barber.  

Sheila loved going to the casinos, with Gulfport and Biloxi being her favorite two places to go. She also loved playing cards, and her favorite game was Canasta. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed. 

She is survived by her children, Mandy Vaughan (Jeremy) and Bucky Barber; her grandchildren, Aaron Vaughan, Madalyn Barber, and Syndey Vaughan; her brother, Ronny Sullivan; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Claire Sullivan; and her brother Richard Sullivan and sister, Sandra Sullivan.
