Susan (Newman) Botkin was born on October 19, 1952, in Bellefontaine, Ohio, to the Late Benjamin and Anna Newman. Susan was a realtor for Cerwinsky Realtor before moving to Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Vero Beach to be a loan officer at Glendale Federal Bank, Washington Mutual and Great Western Banks. She was married to Gerald “Baldie” Botkin on the Paddle Wheel Queen in Fort Lauderdale in 1993. She has one daughter, Brandi Purvis (Will) of Viera, Florida. She has three stepdaughters and five step-grandchildren. The light of her life beside her husband was her twin grandson, Benjamin, and granddaughter, Megan Purvis of Viera, Florida. There will be no memorial service at this time.
