Tyler W. McElhenney, 25, Lizella, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2022.  The family will receive family and friends on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Sardis-Heard Funeral Home.  Burial will be private. Tyler was preceded in death by his daddy, Jason W. McElhenney; both of his Granddaddy’s, Wade M. Purvis and Sammy McElhenney; and his Uncle Matthew Kersey.

He is survived by his Mama, Tasha McElhenney of Lizella, Georgia; his son, Riley J. McElhenney; the mother of his son, KC Mena; his sisters, Maranda (Matthew) Adams, Andrea Deaton, Candace and Courtney Reed; his nana’s Ann Hudgins and Aurye McElhenney; his aunts and uncles, Wade M. (Christy) Purvis, Kathy Purvis, Tara (Shelton) Hatten, Wende (Steven) McDowell, and Travis McElhenney; his Lil’ Buddy Ryder; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
