Wesley Nobles, 74, of Macon, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, after an extended illness. A reception to honor his life will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Sardis-Heard Funeral Home. Burial will be private at Brown Family Cemetery in Yonkers, Georgia.
Wesley was born in Norfolk, Virginia, on February 5, 1950, to the late Emory Eugene Nobles and Lucy White Nobles. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy where he served in the Vietnam War. Wesley worked as an aircraft mechanic at Robins Air Force Base. He was a die-hard Pittsburgh Steelers Fan since 1962. Wesley loved Harley-Davidson Motorcycles and he loved his rottweilers.
He is survived by his longtime companion and former wife, Heidi Jo Nobles; his sister and brother-in-law, Emily and James Foskey of Cochran; his brother and sister-in-law, Buddy and Norma Nobles of Cochran; his niece and nephew, Tammy Butterworth (Matt) of Macon and John Michael Foskey (Ashley) of Paris, Tennessee; and a lifetime of friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and his 2 loyal Rottweilers, “Blackjack” and “Ronnie Boy”.
